How to play Number Slide
Tap a tile next to the gap to slide it. Arrow keys move the gap. Put the numbers in order from left to right, top to bottom, with the empty space last. Choose 3×3 or 4×4; changing size starts a fresh board. Fewer moves and less time earn more points.
A good first strategy
Finish a row or column at a time and protect the part you have solved. Bringing a tile near its destination is only useful if the empty space can follow.
The challenge and the score
Put the eight or fifteen numbered tiles in order on your chosen board. The shared leaderboard ranks the five highest point totals. An ended attempt can earn points even when you have not completed the whole challenge.
You can leave a public name of one to six characters if your score qualifies. You do not need an account to play or to leave a score.
