SAVES & CONTINUE

Come back to the same little world.

The Small Way Home, A Very Odd Night and A Little More keep adventure progress in your browser. There is no account to remember, but the browser you use matters.

Adventures you can return to

Use the same browser and device

If you play in Chrome on your phone, return in that browser on that phone. Opening the link in another browser does not bring the old save with it. A link opened inside a social or messaging app can use a separate browser environment from the one you normally use.

Choose Continue when you return

The game’s title menu offers Continue when a saved place is available. Use that option to resume. A new game is a fresh start; it is not how you load existing progress. If you cannot find your place, first check that you are using the original browser and the same site address.

Keep the browser’s site data

Clearing site storage removes the adventure saves stored there. Private or incognito windows may discard their storage when closed. Browser cleanup settings can also matter, so keep the site’s data if you intend to return to its story.

There is no automatic cloud transfer between devices. A phone and a desktop are separate places to play, even if their browsers are signed in to the same browser vendor account.

Chapter choice is separate from save progress

Ella’s Chapters One and Two can both be selected without unlocking the second chapter. Choosing an available chapter is different from resuming a saved point inside it. The other two adventures each currently have Chapter One available. More adventures to come.

Before you play

Do I need to sign up to save a story?

No. Adventure progress is kept in your browser.

Can I recover a save after clearing all site storage?

The site does not provide account-backed cloud recovery. Keep the original browser’s data if you want to preserve that save.
